If you or your loved one requires representation at a Temporary Absence ("TA") or Parole Hearing, our team can assist. Having a skilled lawyer who can advocate on your behalf, could make all the difference as to whether release is granted.
What is a Temporary Absence?
Being granted a TA provides inmates with opportunities to access the community or another institution for medical, administrative, parental responsibility, compassionate reasons, community service, family contact, personal development, and for rehabilitative purposes.
What is a Parole?
Parole is the early release of an applicant from a correctional institution into the community under the supervision of a Probation and Parole Officer. Parole is an opportunity for an applicant to serve the remainder of their sentence in the community under conditions determined by the Ontario Parole Board.
Having adequate representation at your Parole Hearing is an important tool in order to convey your strengths and to display your suitability to be released back into the community.
Our lawyers will travel out of the Niagara region to assist you at your hearing.
Our family lawyers prevent and resolve conflicts through communication, negotiation, and where necessary through litigation. Call us about your separation, cohabitation or pre-nuptial agreement, or any other family law matters.

FAMILY AND CHILD SERVICES (F.A.C.S.)
If you are involved in a dispute which requires legal assistance, you can be confident that the litigation lawyers at Protomanni & Associates will work hard on your behalf to bring about an efficient and expeditious resolution.
If you are considering taking action on a dispute, it is important to contact a lawyer quickly. In all cases, including small claims court — where the amount in question is $35,000 or less — there is a time limit to file a claim or respond to one.
At Protomanni & Associates, we will take care of the details of your claim. If there is a way to achieve a settlement out-of-court that is in your best interest, we will find it. If litigation is the best course of action for you, we will represent you with skill and dedication.
With our office so close to the Canada-US border, we represent many clients that find themselves with legal troubles upon entering Canada, namely, criminal charges.
Although getting arrested abroad can be avoided by being sensible, and more importantly, researching the differences between US and Canadian law, committing crimes in a foreign country isn't really all that uncommon. Even if you're the most law abiding citizen back home, a little drunken revelry or a misunderstanding of the law while in Canada, could land you in jail.
It's important to know your legal rights.
Our team can handle your legal matter without you having to be present in court, in Canada.
If you're arrested in Canada, give us a call and let our team assist you.

At Protomanni & Associates, we can provide you with advice as to how to best achieve your wishes and goals, ensure your children and loved ones are provided for and to minimize income and estate administration tax (formerly probate).
We offer a free initial consultation. The purpose of this meeting is not to provide legal advice, rather, an opportunity to hear the details of your matter and provide a quote to retain our services. We offer the following methods of payment:
